Welcome to the official website of ACT Golf.
ACT Golf is an unofficial club formed by golfers among ANSARA Tepen members for the purpose of socialising while enjoying rounds of golf games.
Created about 5 years ago, ACT Golf has progressed well over the years with steady increase in number of memberships coming from MRSM Taiping alumnis and also spouse of alumni members from across various batches. Notwitstanding its young age, ACT Golf has achieved several accolades with the latest being ANSARA Tepen became the Champion of inaugural Piala Presiden-Presiden ANSARA 2009 held on November 22, 2009. It was a proud moment when our Team Captain and members went onstage during the ANSARA Dinner 2009 to lift up the trophy. Syabas ! and for Piala Presiden-Presiden ANSARA 2010 Edition, it will be held on 27th November 2010 at Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam (KGPA). It is hope all our members will turun padang tu support and of course we will fight our level best to retain the title, inshallah.
ACT Golf also proud to its association with ANSARA Golf Association (AGA). Since 2006, ACT Golf has contibuted to the activities of AGA by organising ANSARA Invitational Golf, an annual charity golf event championed by ACT Golf with strong support from AGA members. This annual activity is arranged to help raise fund for funding general activities of ANSARA Tepen. For 2010, we had organised mini version of ANSARA Invitational 2010 tournament at at Taiping Golf Resort in Taiping on 11 July 2010 in conjunction with our annual SPKG 2010 activity at MRSM Tepen. Terima kasih daun keladi to all supporters, players and donors who made this event successful. A wonderful event as ACT Golf managed to sponsor free flite for Kelab Golf MRSM Tepen with paticipation from Cikgu, Kakitangan as well as students of MRSM.
The following are among beneficiaries from rounds of charity golf organised by ACT Golf todate :-
1. RM 500 for Best Student of Hari Graduasi MRSM Taiping 2007
2. RM 500 for Best Student of Hari Graduasi MRSM Taiping 2008
3. RM 3,000 for sponsoring 2008 field trip of Kelab Medic MRSM Taiping to HUSM, Kubang Kerian (Program Doktor Muda kelolaan Dr Azreen)
4. RM 5,000 allocation for future trip of Kelab Medic MRSM Taiping (Program Doktor Muda)
5. RM 500 for Best Student of Hari Graduasi MRSM Taiping 2009
6. RM 1,000 for Best Student Male and Best Student Female Hari Graduasi MRSM Taiping 2010
It is hope that our members to continue supporting activities organised by ACT Golf going forward.
